A minimalist video player built for A-B repeat practice

ShadowPlayer plays videos from your own photo library and lets you loop any section over and over — designed for shadowing practice, language study, and drilling a passage until it sticks.
While playing, tap Set A at the point you want the loop to start, then Set B where it should end. Playback then repeats that section until you tap Cancel.
To let you pick which videos to play. ShadowPlayer only reads the videos you select — it never adds, modifies, or deletes anything in your library, and nothing is uploaded. See the Privacy Policy.
They stay in your photo library. ShadowPlayer plays them directly and never makes copies, so it uses almost no extra storage.
ShadowPlayer references videos in your photo library. If a video is deleted from the library, it can no longer be played.
Yes. Audio keeps playing when you lock the screen or return to the home screen — useful for listening practice.
Tap the forward/back buttons to jump 3 seconds. Press and hold to scan continuously, and release to stop.
